Please direct this letter to Senator Inhofe and tell him of our full support.

Use it to help Senator Inhofe help all Americans.

Sen. Inhofe is a real hero to us-he is a supporter of property rights and common sense. He is taking a lot of heat now for demanding that the Army Corps of Engineers follow the law and make decisions based on scientific fact and sound financial principles. We support him to the utmost in his efforts. He is fighting for all of us.

Sen. Inhofe is demanding that the Army Corps of Engineers protect a community known as the 8.5 Square Mile Area as Congress authorized and directed them to do in 1989. Instead of protecting this community the Corps wants to condemn the land and take it in defiance, not only of Congress, but of a federal judge's ruling that the Corps actions are illegal. Their actions are not only illegal but they are lacking in humanity and they strike at the very roots of our right to be safe in our homes.

Now the Corps is going behind the backs of it's own authorizing committees in an underhanded attempt to expand its authority by sneaking a rider into the Department of Interior appropriations bill.

Sen. Inhofe is attempting to keep this rider out of the bill. We want this rider out of the bill too. There a lot of rich, radical environmentalists in Washington lobbying the senate and they want this community destroyed. They also want your tax dollars to pay for this unnecessary and illegal destruction! This rider will grant them the power and the money they lust after.

Tell the Environment and Public Works Committee we support Sen. Inhofe completely.

Tell them how proud we are of Sen. Inhofe and his staff for their courageous defense of the 8.5 Square Mile Area even though we are in California.

Tell him we wish he was our Senator.

We wish he was President!

The Senator has our support for his efforts to make the Corps follow the law and abide by the wishes of its authorizing committees.

Tell the Corps that not one home, not one piece of property should be condemned! The Everglades can be saved without this abuse of power and waste of our tax dollars!

Our group lives in the great Central Valley of California, specifically in the Delta.

We deal with the Corps here all the time. If they get away with that boondoggle in Florida, how long do you think it will be before they 'restore' the Delta to its former pristine swamp-self? How long before hundreds of thousands of prime Delta farmland is forced out of production forever?

Support Sen. Inhofe? You bet your campaign button we do, 1000% (yes, I do know how many 0's I typed!)!
