While most of us were napping, the BIG UGLIES moved into our space, cities and towns -- and have taken over land and businesses all across our United States.

The Big UGLIES are busy eating away at our Constitution -- the one thing that makes us different from any other country in the world -- the reason others leave their homeland to begin life anew here.

Charities are set up for the underdog. They know we are suckers for the hungry, poor and those who have no voice -- the animals, trees and water.

Hundreds of foundations are set up -- many are subsidized by our taxes -- and/or the rich Kennedys, Ted Turners, Wal Marts who donate handsomely. General Assembly meetings reveal mischievous, devious ways "environmental extremists" intend to squeeze money from Americans by invention.

Endangered species is one.

Multiplying the species is not the answer they seek. The "cure" involves hiring attorneys until you are broke whereby your land is seized in the name of "saving" said creature. Millions of acres of rural American finest farmland has been taken, controlling agriculture, including Cargill’s 16,500 acres of salt ponds in San Francisco’s bay area.

The legal system works for the UGLIES.

The government has your land, the attorneys have your money where they can have a few good laughs at the next board meeting and plan their next move.

In this case, lets make it the plight of the manatee. The locals hire attorneys, the 5-year moratorium is lifted, but the mouth of the river and areas stretching from Charlotte to Collier County is now either off limits or slow zones.

The control here is the boat industry, the fishing industry, regulated now by the government. The manatee is INCIDENTAL. (But the job of the government is to protect our borders, you say, it is written in our beloved Constitution.)

Next board meeting. Pregnant pigs in a cage. Lets control the hog industry. Pork in Sweden is $11.00 a pound. Place this on the ballot get the suckers to vote for it and we can be on our way to ... Ahem! more pork in Washington!

Health insurance and medical care must have taken years to plot out in this court of injustice. Make the doctors pay exorbitant premiums --mustn’t leave out companies and individuals who will now pay through the nose. When costs run to extremes, cancel your policy or look to the government for universal health care. Hillary will be tickled to help.

The United States can be taken over from within.

As of December 12th, 2002, The United Nations General Assembly has declared 2003 the "International Year of Freshwater" a process aimed at establishing targets for providing fresh water and assisting nations to meet those targets ...

Folks, you might need more than a rain barrel to combat this one. You elected people to work for you, to represent you. Write to them, call them, raise cane. Fight the BIG UGLIES, or you might find yourself wearing that rain barrel.
