Dear Mr. George:

I write to you in valid concern on two points, points that I trust will be brought up and seriously talked about at the scheduled June 2nd Colorado  Wildlfie Commission Workshop.

1.  What has reintroduction of the lynx to do with saving the species?  There has been not one 'success story' in the almost 30-year history of the Endangered Species Act (ESA), although there have been tens of thousands of true and substantied victim stories due to the Act.  The toll in human suffering, cultural and rural cleansing and economic domestic carnage is beyond fathoming.  Please consider that the lynx itself may adjust its 'habitat,' but that 'reintroduction' in areas that become regulatory victims is not only unwise but arbitrary and capricious.

2.  Understanding that power breeds corruption, is this issue not really about controlling where and how many humans may live, rather than about the lynx?

There are too many instances of falsification and deliberate 'planting' of lynx fur and grizzly bear hair for the alert public to submit to such flexing of regulatory muscle for what may have nothing to do with the 'stated purpose.'

Please do visit my website at www.nodarbyrefuge.0catch.com (it's a zero, not a capital "O") and study what is presented there:  facts and truth, not overblown 'visionary' statements from non-governmental and bureaucratic spokespeople who have no rural culture, nor concept of such as being the vital backbone of America that it is.

Thank you for your time.  I'd be delighted to hear from you should you be so inclined.

(I have many friends and relatives living in Colorado, so I have a vested interest in this issue; here in Ohio, reintroduction of carnivores such as the grizzly, wolverine, cougar, and others is being 'considered' by regulatory agencies directed by NGOs, too.)

ALERT - ACTION NEEDED TO STOP MORE LYNX TRANSPLANTS INTO COLORADO

Use the wolf situation as an example.    USFWS first reintroduced them in AZ, then NM now they are trying to cram the program into several states.

THE LYNX IS A SIMILAR ISSUE.  The Colorado Divison of Wildlife has a program where they have reintroduced the lynx in Colorado.  ONCE THE PROGRAM IS GOING IN COLORADO, WHAT STATES WILL BE NEXT?

I have received information that the issue of more lynx transplants into Colorado will be on the agenda of next Thursday's Colorado  Wildlfie Commission Workshop.

Russell George, Director, Colorado Division of Wildlife needs to hear from people all over and especially Colorado. His phone number is 303-291-7208, his email  russell.george@state.co.us   YOU CAN KEEP IT SHORT BUT PLEASE ASK TWO QUESTIONS.

   1.  Is the effort to reintroduce the Lynx in Colorado really about the saving of the lynx?

    2.  or is the action for the purpose to control of human activities?

For people outside Colorado, state you are concerned because once Colorado has their lynx program going, your state may be next.

I do not consider any action on endangered species as being local.  What happens in any location has the potential of impacting people everywhere.
