Myself and several others notice that your poll regarding Terri Schiavo does NOT REGISTER our yes votes, and that we are unable to post our side of this issue.

A Florida State representative emailed me about this, also.

Julie

Your response ASAP would be appreciated.

Brain-dead: The NY Times

October 23, 2003

A Letter to the Editor - 124 words

letters@nytimes.com

A brain damaged woman with a murderous, faithless, profit-driven 'husband' -- complete with children and a 'fiancee,' while he refuses to divorce Terri Schindler Schiavo -- has enough of a cross to bear. She does not need the major muzzled media adding to it with their refusal to call Terri what she is: brain damaged, not what she is NOT: brain-dead. This false information has even sought to portray the 'husband' as devoted. Devoted to Terri's remaining several hundred thousand-dollar court award (for the care he has never allowed her), he may be. Devoted to silencing her and the truth about her injuries, forever, certainly. A good, long look in your media mirror is in order, NYT. You're coming up short on truth. Or … doesn't truth sell enough newspapers?
