1. 10 News never replied to this: Subj: Re: 'Michael Schiavo's statement' - Since you're so quick ... Date: 10/23/03 1:53:27 PM Eastern Standard Time From: JSmit10695 Myself and several others notice that your poll regarding Terri Schiavo does NOT REGISTER our yes votes, and that we are unable to post our side of this issue. A Florida State representative emailed me about this, also. Julie Your response ASAP would be appreciated. 2. The New York Times did not print this: Subj: Letter to the Editor: 130 words Date: 10/23/03 2:13:19 PM Eastern Standard Time From: JSmit10695 Brain-dead: The NY Times October 23, 2003 A Letter to the Editor - 124 words A brain damaged woman with a murderous, faithless, profit-driven 'husband' -- complete with children and a 'fiancee,' while he refuses to divorce Terri Schindler Schiavo -- has enough of a cross to bear. She does not need the major muzzled media adding to it with their refusal to call Terri what she is: brain damaged, not what she is NOT: brain-dead. This false information has even sought to portray the 'husband' as devoted. Devoted to Terri's remaining several hundred thousand-dollar court award (for the care he has never allowed her), he may be. Devoted to silencing her and the truth about her injuries, forever, certainly. A good, long look in your media mirror is in order, NYT. You're coming up short on truth. Or … doesn't truth sell enough newspapers? Julie Kay Smithson 213 Thorn Locust Lane London, OH 43140 740-857-1239 |
