Forest Service to scale back programs to pay for Utah fire

(Note: A 'prescribed burn' run amok -- 600 acres turned into almost 8,000 acres. Who pays? You do, Fair Taxpayer, you do! Still think The Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club, et al, are REALLY all about 'saving' flora and fauna? They and the United Nations are driving this runaway train!)

The Cascade II fire consumed 7,790 acres, rather than the 600 it was planned to burn, and the Uinta National Forest Service said it will reduce some programs to fund the $1.8 million the fire cost.

The National Forest Service budgeted $460 million nationwide for firefighting during the last fiscal year.
