Subject: Announcing Clean Water Celebration in March

I want to alert you about the CLEAN WATER CELEBRATION that will be held in Peoria on March 21 and 22, 2004. That is Sunday and Monday. We have a packed schedule and you should be planning to bring your students to help in this event. Reservation forms and all information are available on line at:: http://www.siue.edu/OSME/river/CWC/CleanWC.html

The Sunday experience will be aboard the Spirit of Peoria and will include water sampling competition for prizes.

Monday will provide multiple water related experiences as we Look at our River Roots. A River Trivia competition is being sponsored by the Nature Conservancy and will be held early Monday morning.

The forms and information for the Celebration are on the Rivers Project Web site. This is the largest event of its kind in the World and we expect over 3000 kids and teachers to be present. Come be a part of this event.

And if you are looking to start a Celebration, give us a shout. We want this to go on forever and create a sense of clean water everywhere.
