Terri Schiavo released from hospital

(Note: How much more twisted can the truth get? Terri was signed out of the hospital by the one who intends to kill her -- she was not released because she was in any condition to be spirited away in a pickup truck back to the killing field of Woodside, where he wants her to be something she is not: dead. This is NOT a 'right-to-die' case, no matter how much false press and attorney/judge posturing and huffing and puffing is done! Terri never said that she wanted to be starved to death or die of dehydration and thirst! SHE NEVER DID! NEVER! Why isn't the person and his team being prosecuted for these numerous murder attempts? What is sickeningly WRONG with this picture? Where is the prosecutor that will do RIGHT BY TERRI?)

Terri Schiavo was taken back to the hospice that has been caring for her for several years last night.

Schiavo's feeding tube was replaced yesterday at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. She was taken there after Governor Jeb Bush ordered her kept alive.

Michael Schiavo's attorney complains the woman was "abducted from her deathbed" and being mistreated by attempts to keep her alive.

Meanwhile, legal scholars predict Bush's intervention will be ruled unconstitutional. The case is one of the nation's longest and most contentious right-to-die cases.

Terri Schiavo has been in a what doctors call a "persistent vegetative state" and on a feeding tube since 1990, when her heart stopped because of a chemical imbalance. Her eyes are open, but doctors say she has no consciousness.

The feeding tube was removed by court order last week, at the insistence of Michael Schiavo, who has custody.

Terri Schiavo's brother says she was "alert and responsive" as family members hugged and kissed her during their visit yesterday.

In another developments, David Demers, the chief judge of Pinellas County Circuit Court, ordered lawyers for both sides to reach an agreement within five days to designate an independent guardian for Terri, as required under the law signed by the governor.

The new guardian would become Terri Schiavo's advocate in legal proceedings, but Michael Schiavo would remain the decision-maker.

If an agreement cannot be reached, Demers said, he will appoint Dr. Jay Wolfson, a professor of health and law at Stetson University, as the guardian. Wolfson also works for the College of Public Health at Florida State University and the College of Medicine at the University of South Florida.

A guardian ad litem is a person appointed by the court to represent the best interests of one or more children in a court action that may affect them. "Ad litem" is Latin for "for this litigation."

Photo: Terri arrived back at the hospice late last night. [Look at the transport vehicle for a woman who's been through so much at the hands of the 'husband.' She should be in Intensive Care, and look what he signs her out of the hospital and carts her back to where she has no business being in at all, a hospice! Terri is NOT terminally ill! This is AGAINST THE LAW, her being in that hospice!]
