October 22, 2003 For two weeks, I've watched the MMM (major muzzled media) continue, in the face of truth and facts, to call Theresa Marie 'Terri' Schindler Schiavo either 'comatose' or in a 'persistent vegetative state.' She is neither. She never has been. For two weeks, my life has revolved around the clock, and what Time means to Terri. I cannot look at a glass of water without wishing that I could offer her a cool washcloth and a sip. My life will never be the same as it was BT: 'before Terri.' This innocent young woman has profoundly effected the lives of many others. We could not stand by and allow her to be killed by a system gone mad, and the 'husband' determined to keep her quiet ... forever. My efforts, like countless others, have been to gather and disseminate information. Like my website, http://www.PropertyRightsResearch.org, there is a vast 'black hole' between what the MMM feeds to the public and what is really happening. The election year knee-jerk and often sullen response by the Florida legislature proves that there are many parallels between the 'world's oldest profession' and politicians ... What has moved the legislature -- albeit grudgingly, most of them hoping that Terri would die before they actually DID something, which should have been unnecessary, due to Florida Statute Section 744, 3211 already being 'on the books.' The miracle that is Terri continues to shine -- in "Terri Lights" that people have in their windows all across America and the world that will stay lit until Terri is safe from the shadow of death cast over her by those that continue to be painted as 'the good guys.' They are not. Everyone should read this poignant letter from Terri's father pleading with Hospice Woodside [where she was held hostage for three years, illegally, because one must be terminally ill to be in a hospice, and Terri has no disease] to provide decent medical attention): You may print my name, city, state, email address, and website.
