| Watershed Partnership Training

September 29 - October 10, 2003 Shepherdstown, West Virginia From the Missouri Environmental Calendar The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is hosting a two-week intensive watershed partnership seminar entitled Watershed Partnerships: Collaboration for Environmental Decision Making. This course is designed for people from local, state and federal government, and non-profit organizations, as well as representatives of the business community and citizens involved in watershed management. The course will demonstrate how leadership development, partnership building and science are building blocks for solving water quality problems. Skilled and insightful session leaders will use experiential team building, facilitation, conflict resolution and partnership development exercises that participants can apply as they carry out an actual watershed case study project. Some of these tools will come from EPA's recently published Community Culture and the Environment: A Guide to Understanding a Sense of Place. Participation limited. Register by June 30, 2003.
