More Like Global Swarming - around a money/power hive
February 21, 2007
By Julie Kay Smithson, researcher
To President George Bush, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and
Republican Leader John Boehner, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell:
I cannot too strongly urge the United States Senate to reject the 1997 United Nations Kyoto Protocols Treaty, which purports to address "global warming" by constraining economic growth in the United States while allowing unmitigated growth in 129 other nations, included two of the world's largest, but most impoverished, economies: China and India. It's more like Global Swarming: around a money/power hive. In 1997, the Senate overwhelmingly rejected the Kyoto Treaty (95-0) with the Byrd-Hagel Senate resolution, which objected to the lack of any "specific scheduled commitments" in regard to the CO2 output of "developing" countries."
I reject the Orwellian "solutions" proposed by Albert Arnold Gore
and others claiming Kyoto Protocols must be adopted to stop "global
warming." Climate change, i.e., "global warming" OR "global
cooling," has virtually zilch to do with production of so-called
"greenhouse gases."
Mister Gore's "solutions" will only impede the advancement of scientific and technological innovation, and would continue to impoverish billions of people around the world as it adds even more poverty and destroys property rights for all except the powerful and already generationally wealthy. I have nothing against wealth, which comes from free enterprise, but this "solution" to "global warming" is nothing more than a Trojan Horse that has been pulled to the gates of freedom. Should language deception sham those within the gates to open them, our entire property rights American dream will be changed to a nightmare.
No to any and all "solutions" that point a tainted finger at
"global" warming OR cooling as being "human caused." Hogwash and
balderdash! No to all such ploys that use
emotion-twanging, deliberately deceptive language.
