How Language is Employed

In Vietnam, the first troops ashore were on missions to "soften
up" areas later to be invaded by larger forces -- making
it easier for those larger forces to succeed in their missions.
It is the same with Language Deception.
The most corrupt example that comes to mind is "weapons of mass
destruction." Commercial airplanes were used! Does that make all
airplanes WMDs? No, but a new phrase was introduced
to the public to "soften up" people to accept
emotional Language Deception while their thinking brains were
paralyzed. Mere words, carefully arranged and repeated enough
in persuasive enough tones, are able to cause the human mind to
conjure up scenarios that savvy wordsmiths know will send the public running
for "protection" -- even though no protection is actually
needed.
Other interesting ways in which language has been used: "war on
drugs," "war on terror," "insurgents,"
"guest workers," etc.
It is the same with "invasive," "native,"
"non-native," "alien," "threatened,"
"at risk," etc. "Habitat" and
"critical habitat" are others.
People's emotional sides are being "softened up" to accept
more and more restriction -- the idea that a benevolent government
will somehow "protect" them from such things -- or that
they actually need such "protection."
Today it was announced that "air marshals" are now going
to be deployed to trains, buses and even car parking lots. Not that
there's a real need for them, but so that people will feel
"protected."
What is encouraging are the numbers of people who are awakening to
the Language Deception -- and, once awakened, can never again read
or listen with their emotions. They've come to realize that
"warm and fuzzy" words are being used as traps to steal
their freedom, their property rights.
Kelo v. New London did America a huge favor. It proved that people
can fathom the horrors of illegal and run-amok use of eminent domain
-- that no one's home, land or business is safe from something
that's higher up on the economic/power food chain.
Stay awake, America! There's more to come, and the sooner you learn
the ways in which Language Deception is being used to steal your
freedom, the better you will be able to protect that freedom.
Chicken Little's frantic "Sky is falling" warning may
simply be a ruse to clear the streets.
