Block USDA’s efforts to reopen the Canadian border

On March 3, 2005, the U.S. Senate voted 52-46 in favor of overturning
USDA’s Final Rule to reopen the Canadian border.
The Canadian border -- set to reopen to Canadian beef on March 7th -- remained
closed.
Your efforts are to be commended for helping make that happen.
The measure now goes to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Your efforts are needed once again.
Please contact your representatives and request they co-sponsor -- and
then support -- the Cubin/Herseth Resolution (HJR 23), which would
block USDA’s efforts to reopen the Canadian border.
