It is
about Principle: The Jesse Hardy Story "As a teenager, I
used to wonder if Johnny Tremaine, Nathan Hale and John Paul Jones knew
what exciting times they grew up in. I suspected they were oblivious to
their place in history and wished I could have been there to partake in
the creation of a new nation, founded in liberty & justice for all.
And now I look around, and I see I have the very same opportunity I
yearned for so long (ago)." - Rich Martin, June 15, 2003 http://familyrightsassociation.com/news/archive/2003/june/richs_rants_june_15_2003.htm
May 22, 2004 By Julie Kay Smithson When David slew
Goliath, it was about Principle. It is about Principle. When a person stands on Principle, he has a view that those lacking it can never have.
Jesse Hardy has such a
view. He owns one hundred and sixty acres of homestead land on
Naomi Street -- named after his mother -- near Naples,
Florida. The land and his home -- no matter what others may think -- are
HIS. To see Principle
in its purest form, look to Jesse Hardy -- you'll see walking, talking,
living, breathing Principle embodied in a man living with cancer, but
still full of Principle. This world could use a lot more men of
Principle. Contrary to reports
that say Jesse has visited other sites and considered a land
swap, Jesse has NOT done so -- and does not intend to do so. He has a simple plan --
a noble plan -- to make his part of the earth a better place, not
only for himself and his son, Tommy, but also for the public. This plan
includes stocked fishing lakes for recreation. The local community uses
the resultant gravel for its roads and other public benefits. What could be simpler?
What could be nobler? Each of us can learn a great deal from this simple
man. Jesse has said,
repeatedly, countless times, in his sixty-eight year old voice, that his
home and land are HIS -- neither is for sale. Both are promised to his
son, Tommy -- and to Jesse, a promise means something. To the people that care
about private property and the peace that should come with owning a home
and land, it is about Principle. To all those Vietnam
vets (and other veterans) that know the loneliness of thinking that
no one in America understands or appreciates what they gave, it is
about Principle. Each of you think about Principle on Memorial Day, Armistice
/ Veterans Day and many other days. Many media emps
(employees) continue to lie about Jesse Hardy to the
public. It is about Principle, from first glance to the
bottom line. It may be simplistic, but simple can also be
noble. Please visit http://www.myflorida.com/myflorida/cabinet/mart.html and

around 1:00:39 -- ends at approximately 1:10:30.
Hear for yourself the untruths that it seems almost everyone but
Jesse is saying. Marked by calumnious
"publicity", the MMM (Major Muzzled Media) work in concert
with aforementioned government agencies and their scurrilous
non-governmental orchestrators to choreograph the tumble of America from
a Constitutional Republic to a "service-oriented economy" -- a
slave state run by feudal "lords." Please consider this
quote and the year in which it was said, and you'll readily see why my
reference to the media is so described: "In March 1915,
the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest,
and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the
newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential
newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control
generally the policy of the daily press.... They found it was only
necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. An
agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid
for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly
supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness,
militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and
international nature considered vital to the interests of the
purchasers." - U.S. Congressman Oscar Callaway, 1917 A coterie of federal,
state and local government emps continue to hound Jesse with lies and
criminal intent (the arbitrary "DPIR" or "Draft
Integrated Project Implementation Report" -- part of the "CERP"
or "Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Project" -- which is
part of "The Wildlands Project" or the premeditated and
malevolent intent to control all land, water and people. http://www.EvergladesPlan.org Cindy and Mark Kemp of the Property Rights Action Committee attended a
Cabinet meeting in Tallahassee on April 13, 2004, to speak on
behalf of Jesse. Governor Bush said that the State would try to
negotiate "in good faith" so Jesse could stay on his
land. It disappointed them greatly to hear, at the May 19th
meeting, the Governor's aides voicing falsehoods. If this sounds like
"conspiracy theory", you're half right -- conspiracy, yes
-- theory, no. This is the conspiring
to steal America's heart and soul -- her property rights -- by those who
know full well that they can win if they can keep the general public
believing that the few sounding warning bells are "the black
helicopter" crowd. The sky is not falling,
but the trap on your freedom and mine is springing shut, with a fraction
of Americans realizing it and deciding to do something about it.
Stalking-horses are all around us. "Freedom is a
fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from
extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and
defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a
people. Those who have known freedom, and then lost it, have never known
it again." - Ronald Reagan. Jesse's land has been
dubbed "the hole in the doughnut," but if that has happened,
it has been due to the voracious land acquisition appetite of The
Wildlands Project implementers. The ink is likely already
dry on the Army Corps of
Engineers' draft Integrated Project Implementation Report and
Environmental Impact Statement for Southern Golden Gate Estates
(where Jesse's land is located), published in the Federal Register on
May 14, 2004, as a Notice of Availability for the "Southern Golden
Gate Estates Hydraulic Everglades Restoration Project Draft Integrated
Project Implementation Report". The public comment period ends
June 28, 2004. The report may be read here: http://www.evergladesplan.org/pm/projects/docs_30_sgge_pir.cfm and

may be submitted several ways, but it is of utmost importance that you
comment! Help Jesse say NO to The Wildlands Project and NO to the land
control frenzy that has run amok. EIS

904-232-3442 or 904-232-3976 "Somebody should
do 'something'" is a hackneyed copout. Jesse Hardy is a
Somebody Jesse Hardy is doing Something. Jesse is saying,
"No, thank you, but this is my home and my land; it is not for sale
or trade -- at any price." We all need to listen
to Jesse. He is our torchbearer. You can be a Somebody,
too, if you don't mind being categorized as a Somebody doing
Something. You won't win any popularity contests, but Life is not about
that. Your name will likely never be known as a hero or heroine, but that
is not why you'll be doing the right thing. You will be doing
Something for a Cause that could not be more important -- your
freedom, and Jesse's. He is showing you how! ----- Definitions for the following
